In pristine places such as Sequoia National Park, we often forget that even the most beautiful locations have gloomy days. This particular day in Sequoia, we spent the little time we had exploring the park in a haze of clouds and low visibility. The weather made it tough to stay positive. But when we climbed (rather scampered up 300+ stairs) Moro Rock, we quickly remembered that the sun still existed. This view was enough to make my day.
It’s so easy to get caught up in the gloom. Location, weather, and tragedies in the news often get us so down that we forget the sun will come out again. It’s important that we focus on the positive, even if you’re still at the bottom of the stairs. The view is worth the climb.
Stay positive. Move forward.
